Dear Uniformed Services Personnel/Overseas Citizens: March 2010

This is to inform you of a unique voting opportunity available to you for the May 11, 2010 West Virginia Primary Election. Kanawha County is one of five localities participating in an Internet Voting Pilot Project established by the West Virginia Legislature and signed into law by Governor Manchin in 2009.

If you choose to participate in this pilot program, you will be able to access and cast your absentee ballot online using a secured absentee voter Web site. To take advantage of this opportunity, please complete the enclosed West Virginia Application for Voting Absent Voter’s Ballot Online. Complete all required sections of the form, making sure to include an e-mail address in the Voting Residence Information section and mark “Online” as your ballot receipt preference. Send your completed application by mail, e-mail or fax to:

Kanawha County Clerk
415 Quarrier Street
Charleston, WV 25301
Patfisher@kanawha.us
Fax: 304 - 357-0588

When our office receives your qualified, completed, and signed application, we will send you an email containing ballot instructions and a unique passcode to access and submit your ballot.
